5.2 Tonnes of Agricultural Produce gifted to Beloved Truong Sa
On January 7, 2026, the Standing Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union delivered 5.2 tonnes of agricultural produce and 1.5 tonnes of essential to soldiers and residents of Truong Sa Special Zone, marking the launch of the Spring Volunteer Campaign 2026.

The initiative took place as islands in Truong Sa Special Zone had recently been affected by storms No. 13 and 15, which caused severe damage to vegetable gardens and significantly disrupted the daily lives of local officials, soldiers and residents.
In response, the Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union promptly mobilized resources from agencies, organizations and individuals both inside and outside the province to prepare meaningful and practical gifts, helping to share difficulties with those living and working on the frontline islands.
Speaking at the event,Ms. Tran Diep My Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, emphasized that the journey carried warmth from the mainland, reflecting the solidarity, trust and affection of Lam Dong’s young people for the officers, soldiers and residents of Truong Sa. She affirmed that the mainland always stands alongside the islands, and the Fatherland is forever oriented toward its seas and islands.
During the program, the Standing Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with relevant units, presented a total of 5.2 tonnes of agricultural produce and 1.5 tonnes of essential goods to support the daily life and activities of the military personnel and civilians living and working on the islands of Truong Sa Special Zone.

On behalf of the military and residents of Truong Sa Special Zone, Mr Pham Thanh Liem, Chairman of the People’s Committee of the Special Zone, expressed his sincere gratitude for the timely support from the Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union. He noted that the encouragement serves as a significant source of motivation, helping officers, soldiers and residents remain steadfast in their duties and confident in safeguarding the national sovereignty over Vietnam’s seas and islands.
Through the Spring Volunteer Campaign 2026 – Towards Beloved Truong Sa, the spirit of solidarity, sharing and devotion to the homeland’s seas and islands continues to spread widely among youth union members, young people and residents of Lam Dong province.
