Reorganizing and Stabilizing the System

The Duc Linh Center for Vocational Education and Continuing Education exemplifies the ongoing transformations in Lam Dong’s vocational education landscape following the reorganization of its network. Just over six months into its formation from the merger of the Duc Linh and Tanh Linh centers, the Duc Linh Center has swiftly established its structure and is beginning to show improved operational effectiveness.

In the 2025–2026 academic year, the center hosted 10 upper-secondary continuing education classes with a total of 345 students. More than 93% of the students met academic standards, and the rates of students achieving good, very good, and excellent ratings all increased. Notably, the number of students receiving good ratings doubled compared to the previous academic year.

In addition to general education, the center consistently enrolled students in intermediate programs focused on restaurant operations and graphic design, as well as work-study university offerings in preschool education, all while upholding various training collaborations. Vocational training courses tailored for rural workers were organized based on actual demand, enhancing the skills and earnings of participants.

Concurrently, the center advanced its digital transformation in both management and teaching by introducing electronic records, digital academic transcripts, management software, and artificial intelligence applications. All staff and educators now use information technology in their daily work.

Huynh Huong, Director of the Duc Linh Vocational and Continuing Education Center, stated that the integration of the two organizations presents both challenges and opportunities for comprehensive innovation. The staff and teachers quickly adapted to the changes, collaborating and focusing on enhancing the quality of education while expanding available learning opportunities for the community.

In the upcoming period, the center plans to continue diversifying its training programs to meet social needs, strengthen collaborations with businesses and educational institutions, and expedite digital transformation efforts to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.

Improving Training Quality

Luong Van Ha, Deputy Director of the Lam Dong Department of Education and Training, stated, “In the 2025–2026 academic year , the province finalized the reorganization of its Vocational and Continuing Education Center system, decreasing the number of centers from 17 to seven.

This reorganization not only simplified the organizational structure but also facilitated the concentration of resources, improved management effectiveness, and enhanced the quality of training.”

After establishing a stable organizational structure, the sector has concentrated on enhancing the quality of training and aligning it with the requirements of businesses and the labor market.

Numerous institutions have taken the initiative to update their curricula, boost practical training, incorporate digital and foreign language skills, and introduce emerging fields such as high-tech agriculture, logistics, mechatronics, and information technology. Collaborations with businesses have been reinforced, encompassing everything from curriculum design and internships to recruitment efforts.

At the same time, the incorporation of digital transformation and artificial intelligence in management, enrollment, career guidance, and instruction has played a significant role in enhancing training quality.

Training will be expanded to meet labor market demand, with a focus on fields supporting high-tech agriculture, tourism, processing industries, the green economy and digital transformation. Cooperation with businesses will also be strengthened to improve the quality of the workforce.

In the past academic year, more than 68,300 people enrolled in college, intermediate, elementary and continuing training programs across the province, while nearly 40,000 graduated. More than 85% of graduates found jobs related to their field of training.
