A series of festive events to celebrate the year of the Horse 2026

At the provincial level, key events include the “Lam Dong Dai Ngan 2026” (Lam Dong – The Great Highlands) Spring Flower and Tet Fair, scheduled for February 9–13, 2026, at the Nam Gia Nghia Ward Stadium,featuring around 100 OCOP booths. Additionally, a cultural festival will be held in Xuan Huong Ward, Da Lat, from February 16–26, offering traditional Tet experiences and performances for tourists.

Additionally, the Spring Press Festival will take place from February 3 to 28, 2026, featuring exhibitions at the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the provincial museum. Sporting events will also be held, including the Lam Dong Traditional Martial Arts Tournament, the Ta Cu Mountain Cross-Country Race, and the qualifying round of the “Race to Legends” golf tournament.

Throughout February 2026, the Lam Dong Art Theatre, the Cultural Center, and the Dak Nong Global Geopark Management Center will stage 15 art performances and organize 25 mobile movie screenings to serve local communities during the Tet holiday.
Cultural programs celebrating the Party and Spring 2026, combined with activities marking the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February, 2026), will take place on February 16 (the 29th day of the lunar year) at multiple venues, including Xuan Huong - Da Lat Ward , Phan Thiet Ward, and Bac Gia Nghia Ward.

An art program celebrating the success of the 14th National Party Congress will also be held on January 25, 2026, at the April 3rd Theatre in Xuan Huong - Da Lat Ward .

At the local level, 40 communes, wards, and special zones have so far registered to organize a total of 96 cultural, sports, and tourism activities during the Tet holiday. In addition, five localities have registered to hold low-altitude fireworks displays to welcome the New Year.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Dinh Van Tuan emphasized that organizing the 2026 spring festivities and activities aims not only to meet the cultural and spiritual needs of residents and visitors, but also to serve as a meaningful celebration of the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Mr. Dinh Van Tuan called on departments, agencies, and local authorities to uphold a strong sense of responsibility, proactively coordinate, and effectively carry out assigned tasks to ensure the successful organization of spring and Tet activities, helping people across the province welcome the Tet holiday 2026 in a joyful, safe, and warm atmosphere.
