Advancing procedures to keep a key project on schedule
According to reports, the project has received in-principle approval from the Provincial People’s Council, with total investment estimated at approximately VND 4.712 trillion from the provincial budget. The 12.05-km route includes a main road and an interchange linking to the North–South Expressway. It will be developed with synchronized technical infrastructure, overpasses, and land clearance along the corridor to support urban development.
As a key provincial infrastructure project, it is expected to play an important role in strengthening regional connectivity, expanding urban space, and optimizing land use along the route. Implementation is scheduled for 2026–2030.

To date, relevant agencies and units have been actively implementing the project in line with the approved plan. During the preparation phase, Project Management Unit No. 2 completed the handover of site clearance boundaries to the Land Development Center and the People’s Committee of Binh Thuan Ward (January 2026), facilitating measurement, inventory, and compensation processes.

The project’s feasibility study report has been submitted to the Department of Construction for appraisal and is being revised as required. Meanwhile, the environmental impact assessment has received conditional approval from the appraisal council and is being finalized for submission in April 2026.

In parallel, procedures for traffic connections and crossings with the North–South Expressway, existing railway lines, and related planning schemes are being actively carried out. While initial agreements have been reached on several items, some procedures are still pending official opinions from central authorities.
Preparations for resettlement areas are also underway and currently in the process of appraisal and approval of investment policy.
Under the plan, all investment procedures will be completed in 2026, followed by contractor selection and groundbreaking by the end of 2026, with completion and operation targeted for 2029–2030.
