Accelerating Site Clearance for Tan Phu – Bao Loc Expressway
On the afternoon of April 23, at Da Huoai Commune, Nguyen Hong Hai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee, led a working delegation to inspect and review the progress of the Tan Phu – Bao Loc Expressway project.

On-site inspection to address bottlenecks
The delegation included representatives from provincial departments, the Provincial Police, Project Management Board No. 1, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, investors, and local authorities.

The delegation conducted a field inspection at the DT721 intersection (Km 74) in Da Huoai Commune, where relevant units reported on implementation progress, particularly site clearance and emerging challenges.

Speeding up compensation and legal procedures
At the working session held at the Da Huoai Commune People’s Committee, local authorities reported that 137 households are affected by the project. To date, 135 households have been surveyed, while the remaining 2 are completing documentation for measurement before April 30, 2026.

The Provincial Land Fund Development Center has transferred 133 dossiers to the locality for legal review. Of these, 96 have been processed, 19 returned for supplementation, and 18 are being finalized, expected to be completed by April 25, 2026.

Compensation plans have been approved for 37 households with a total budget of VND 48.7 billion; 7 households have received payments totaling VND 10.9 billion. However, progress remains affected by difficulties in determining specific land prices for compensation, support, and resettlement plans.

During the meeting, representatives from departments and relevant units discussed and clarified the difficulties raised by the locality, while providing guidance on procedures to accelerate implementation.

Firm directives to ensure project progress
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyen Hong Hai requested local authorities to review and classify each case, resolve outstanding issues thoroughly, and avoid prolonged bottlenecks. He also stressed the need to accelerate compensation and site clearance in line with regulations, while strengthening communication to build public consensus.

He assigned departments and agencies to closely coordinate with local authorities to promptly resolve procedural, land-related, and financial issues. Investors were also required to proactively coordinate and prepare all necessary conditions to commence construction as soon as land is handed over.
He further stressed that construction units must ensure quality, labor safety, and environmental protection, while enhancing coordination and proactively reporting and proposing solutions for timely direction from the provincial government.
