Lam Dong is well positioned to expand its development space within the dynamic southern economic region of Southeast Vietnam, thereby attracting a wide range of investment.

Over the past four months, the province has actively implemented the conclusions of the 2025 Business Dialogue Conference, fostering a practical cooperation model between authorities and businesses under the motto: “Listening – Resolving – Action – Results.”

Instead of one-time meetings, Lam Dong now maintains monthly dialogue sessions, sector-based working groups, and the weekly “Entrepreneurs’ Coffee” program, enabling leaders to directly receive and promptly address enterprises’ concerns.

Many issues—particularly related to land procedures, taxation, and legal compliance—have been resolved on-site, while more complex matters are handled through coordinated inter-agency support.

Provincial leaders emphasize that removing obstacles for businesses is not assistance, but responsibility. Helping enterprises operate effectively and grow sustainably is seen as the most practical way to strengthen investor confidence and enhance the province’s attractiveness.

Supporting Existing Investors to Create Momentum

Beyond attracting new capital, Lam Dong prioritizes supporting businesses that have already invested—turning them into ambassadors for the province’s investment environment. This approach is already yielding results

In Bao Loc, an agricultural processing company has leveraged modern technology to produce dragon fruit powder, adding value to local produce and expanding exports. The firm has also partnered with farmers to build stable raw material zones.

Meanwhile, a Da Lat-based enterprise specializing in herbal and vegetable processing has shifted from importing raw materials to developing supply areas within the newly merged regions of Dak Nong and Binh Thuan, reducing costs and ensuring sustainable production.

These examples demonstrate how local businesses are proactively restructuring supply chains and maximizing regional linkages created by the merger.

New Opportunities from Regional Connectivity

Lam Dong is also benefiting from broader investment trends.

As industries relocate from the Southern Key Economic Region and many FDI enterprises seek ready-built factory spaces, the province—particularly the southeastern coastal area—has become increasingly appealing.

The former Binh Thuan region holds distinct advantages, including:

  • Strategic location and convenient transport links
  • Competitive logistics costs
  • Well-planned industrial parks with available land reserves
  • Stable geological conditions, lowering construction and maintenance costs

These strengths have fueled the growth of factory-for-lease projects, creating a layered investment ecosystem in which primary projects attract secondary investments, multiplying economic benefits.

A Partnership-Based Investment Strategy

Lam Dong’s investment strategy is evolving from simple attraction to long-term partnership.

Authorities now view businesses not merely as investors, but as development partners who help promote, connect and expand new opportunities.

In reality, sustainable investment promotion means not only welcoming newcomers, but also empowering those already here.

By maintaining open dialogue, improving administrative efficiency and providing timely support, Lam Dong is building a transparent, reliable and business-friendly environment—laying a solid foundation for stronger growth in the years ahead.
