Stage 16 covered a 140 km route from Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) to Xuan Huong - Da Lat , featuring one of the most demanding courses of the competition.

The stage required riders to conquer the challenging Khanh Le Pass, a more than 30 km mountainous route with steep slopes and sharp turns. From the summit to Da Lat on the Lang Biang Plateau, at an elevation of around 1,500 meters, cyclists faced continuous climbs and winding roads that tested endurance and strategy.

In addition to stage awards, the Organizing Committee presented various individual honors, including the white, yellow, orange, red and green jerseys for outstanding performances.

Sergei Kulikov of Loc Troi Group – An Giang claimed first place in Stage 16. Mugisha Moise of Ho Chi Minh City Vinama finished second, while Yarash Uladzislau of Ho Chi Minh City New Group placed third.

During the ceremony, the Organizing Committee also donated VND 20 million to disadvantaged students and presented gifts from fans to riders and technical staff.

The 2026 race, which began on April 3, consists of 25 stages totaling 2,745 km, starting from Hung Kings Temple in Phu Tho and passing through multiple provinces and cities nationwide.
Following the awards ceremony, riders immediately entered Stage 17, a traditional circuit around Xuan Huong Lake in Da Lat, featuring 10 laps with a total distance of 51 km.
