Held under the theme “Sustainability – Innovation – Global Cooperation,” the conference highlighted pressing issues facing the coffee sector, including climate change, the green transition, traceability requirements and increasingly stringent standards in international markets.

A key highlight of the event was the official launch of the Vietnam–World Coffee Alliance (GCA), which aims to serve as a platform for cooperation, knowledge sharing and market connectivity. The alliance seeks to contribute to the development of a sustainable, transparent and responsible coffee value chain, linking Viet Nam more closely with global partners.

During in-depth discussion sessions, delegates focused on shifting global coffee consumption trends, strategies for sustainable production, technological innovation in processing, quality improvement and value addition for Vietnamese coffee products. Many participants emphasized that strengthening international cooperation, standardizing production practices and enhancing traceability would be critical for Vietnamese coffee to consolidate its position on the global coffee map.

The conference was widely viewed as an effective platform for dialogue and collaboration, enabling international experts, producers and businesses to exchange experience, explore investment opportunities and establish long-term partnerships. Through these connections, the event is expected to contribute to the sustainable development of Viet Nam’s coffee industry, deeper global integration and the broader promotion of coffee heritage values worldwide.
