After the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday, workers at industrial parks across Lam Dong Province have largely returned to work, while production activities at enterprises have quickly resumed normal operations.

According to Le Hai Ninh, Deputy Head of the provincial Industrial Parks Management Board, companies have maintained a stable workforce thanks to supportive wage policies and employee welfare programs.

“Businesses’ attention to salaries, bonuses and worker benefits has helped retain employees, ensuring a stable workforce for production from the very beginning of the Lunar New Year,” he said.

The Lam Dong Industrial Parks Management Board reported that enterprises across the province implemented wage policies effectively. Importantly, no company in Lam Dong had delayed salary payments to workers before the 2026 Tet holiday.

Tet bonuses this year varied widely. The highest bonus, paid by a foreign-invested enterprise, reached VND 115 million (about USD 4,500) per employee, while the lowest bonuses ranged from VND 3.5 million to VND 4.5 million.

For many workers, stable employment and income remain the most important factors.

“For workers like us, having a stable job and income is already something to be grateful for,” said Nguyen Thi Tuyet, a worker at Loc Son Industrial Park.

“On the first day back after the holiday, company leaders also gave us New Year greetings and lucky money, which made us very happy,” she added.

The attention shown by employers through wages, bonuses and holiday incentives has helped strengthen employees’ commitment to their jobs and motivated them to return to work on time.

“Coming back to work on schedule is also our way of showing responsibility to the company,” Tuyet said.

At Phan Thiet Industrial Park, Ung Thi Li La, Chairwoman of the grassroots trade union at Hai Trieu Co., Ltd., said the company organized a New Year lucky money program to encourage employees to return after the holiday.

The company employs more than 625 workers, and nearly all employees resumed work promptly after the Tet break.

Local authorities noted that the strong return of workers and the swift resumption of production activities reflect stable labor relations and improving business confidence in Lam Dong’s industrial sector as companies move into the new production year.
