Vibrant spring vibes

According to representatives from the tourism sites, Tet is not only the peak season of the year but also a major holiday that attracts a large number of visitors. As a result, many destinations, cafés, restaurants, and famous landmarks are decorated to welcome travelers in the new year. Mr. Bin Cafe (Phu Thuy Ward) remains a favorite place for young people seeking an early taste of Tet. Its entrance is brightly adorned with red tones, highlighted by lanterns, kites, straw, and peach blossom branches, creating an eye-catching background for photos.

Meanwhile, major tourist areas in Bau Trang, such as U&Me Bau Trang, Minh Thai, and Trieu Trang (Hoa Thang Commune), are simultaneously upgrading their spaces, creating new Instagrammable spots, servicing their ATV and Jeep fleets, and expanding entertainment and accommodation services. During peak periods, especially the Lunar New Year, these destinations attract hundreds of thousands of visitors.

Mr. Dang Minh Thai, Director of Minh Thai Bau Trang Tourist Area, said that in addition to existing services such as jeep tours, off-road vehicles, ostrich and camel rides, and on-site dining, the site plans to organize a “Rural Market Fair” from the 3rd to the 5th day of the Lunar calendar. There will be clean vegetables, fruits, and local specialties at the fair, bringing a traditional Tet vibe and the cultural identity of Hoa Thang – Phan Thiet closer to visitors.

New Tourism Product

At the same time, resorts and accommodation facilities in the Ham Tien – Mui Ne area are also covered in fresh spring colors and organizing activities rich in traditional cultural figures. One of the most anticipated annual events among international tourists is the “Banh Chung Festival,” scheduled to take place at The Cliff Resort & Residences on February 8th, 2026.

Other resorts such as Anantara, Muine Bay, Pannadus, and Seahorse vividly recreate the lively atmosphere of traditional rural Tet markets through large-scale decorative setups. Community cultural activities, including regional food stalls, calligraphy demonstrations, and traditional musical performances, accompany these. At the same time, service quality and entertainment offerings are being upgraded, promising to attract both domestic and international visitors during the early days of Spring in the Year of the Horse.

Beyond resorts, agritourism destinations across the province have also invested in garden upgrades and crop care to serve visitors during Tet. Despite being operational for only 2 years, Vy Vy Farm (Hoa Thang Commune) attracts thousands of visitors daily during Tet. Recently, the farm has added decorative scenes and planted flowers to enhance the festive atmosphere. According to owner Duong Minh Quang, fruits such as Japanese pink grapes, peonies, apples, guava, and dragon fruit are ripening in time for Tet, offering both scenic views and hands-on harvesting experiences.

Similarly, Binh An High-Tech Farm (Tan Thanh Commune) is upgrading facilities and expanding services to welcome visitors. Covering 100 hectares, the farm produces red-flesh dragon fruit, grapes, and GlobalGAP-certified melons, while also growing sweet passion fruit and improving its children's playgrounds. During the Lunar New Year, visitors can tour seedling nurseries and explore modern greenhouse melon cultivation.

Tet is coming, and Lam Dong is filled with vibrant spring vibes. Through meticulous preparations, new tourism products, and an extended holiday, the province’s tourism sector is expected to see strong growth from the start of the year.
