Located in Cam Binh Quarter, Phuoc Hoi Ward, the beach stretches about 2 kilometers along the coast, featuring fine white sand, gentle waves, and crystal-clear waters. About 63 kilometers southwest of Phan Thiet Ward, Cam Binh has long been a familiar getaway for visitors from near and far — an ideal choice for weekend trips, camping, relaxation, and seaside activities.
Nguyen Thi Mai, a visitor from Ho Chi Minh City, shared her impressions: “I visited Cam Binh years ago when the beach was crowded with makeshift stalls. Returning this time, I was pleasantly surprised — the area is now open, clean, and much more organized. The peaceful and safe atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for a family weekend.”
Meanwhile, Tran Minh Quan, a university student from Ho Chi Minh City traveling with friends, had a different perspective: “Cam Binh still retains its pristine beauty, but it’s now tidier and cleaner. We love setting up tents on the golden sand, swimming, and enjoying fresh seafood right by the sea. It’s a great destination for short getaways.”

Beyond its natural appeal, Cam Binh is undergoing significant changes in environmental protection efforts to become a civilized, sustainable tourist destination. With the consensus of the local residents and the determined involvement of the entire political system, Phuoc Hoi ward has implemented numerous measures to restore urban order and preserve the coastal landscape.
Huynh Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the Phuoc Hoi ward People's Committee, stated that they recently completed efforts to encourage the relocation of all 142 makeshift businesses operating along the beach. These seafood, souvenir, and beverage vendors, which had existed for many years, were provided support and guidance for their relocation. This is a significant success, not only restoring a clean, open, and safe beach environment but also demonstrating the unity and shared responsibility of the community and local government.
During enforcement campaigns, assigned teams coordinated to dismantle illegal structures, document violations, and strictly handle non-compliance. Meanwhile, vendors wishing to continue their businesses were relocated to a designated site in Zone A4, in line with urban planning. This solution both stabilizes livelihoods and preserves the beach’s scenic beauty.
The initial success in restoring order at Cam Binh Beach lays an important foundation for the locality to build an image as a civilized and friendly tourist destination. The Phuoc Hoi ward People's Committee has affirmed its commitment to continue regular inspections and strict supervision to prevent any recurrence of encroachment or unlicensed business activities.
In the coming period, local authorities plan to continue investing in infrastructure, improving service quality, and promoting eco-friendly tourism experiences linked to nature conservation, creating stable jobs for residents. With its stunning landscape and ongoing revitalization efforts, Cam Binh Beach is poised to become one of Lam Dong Province’s most attractive coastal destinations, offering visitors a safe, fulfilling, and unforgettable experience.
