Joining the Cambridge network
On April 14, 2026, the school, in coordination with Cambridge Authorized Test Center VN290, held a ceremony to receive the CEEP certification, along with a workshop on English teaching aligned with international standards.
School principal Luu Thang Long said the certification reflects not only the educational quality but also a long-term strategy to improve students’ language proficiency, with English positioned as a key pillar of global readiness.

The transition to Cambridge standards marks a broader shift in teaching methods, moving away from grammar-focused instruction toward practical language use. Students are expected not only to perform well in tests but also to use English effectively in academic and real-life contexts.
The workshop introduced updated teaching approaches, including continuous assessment, the development of English-language thinking skills, and the use of technology and artificial intelligence in the classroom.

A Cambridge English representative in Vietnam said the goal is to equip teachers with practical tools that can be immediately applied to make lessons more engaging and meaningful.
Improving teaching quality and outcomes
At Le Quy Don School, English is increasingly integrated into daily learning, from classroom instruction to extracurricular activities such as clubs and sessions with foreign teachers.

The school has also invested in facilities and teacher training. All English teachers have completed professional development programs on the CambridgeOne platform and hold international teaching certifications such as TKT, CELTA and DELTA.
Over the past year, 311 students have taken Cambridge exams, achieving results from A2 to B2 levels, with some reaching C1.

A ninth-grade student said increased speaking practice under the Cambridge program helped build confidence and improve communication skills.
School officials say such outcomes reflect a broader shift, where English is no longer treated as a theory-heavy subject but as a tool for communication and global engagement.
A foundation for global integration
The school said adopting international standards ensures transparent assessment and globally recognized competencies, preparing students for future academic and professional opportunities.
Principal Luu Thang Long described the CEEP recognition as a starting point rather than an endpoint, signaling continued efforts to enhance the quality of English education.
