Career orientation launched across Lam Dong schools
Lam Dong authorities have issued a new plan to strengthen career guidance and educational orientation. The plan aims to build a comprehensive career guidance system from primary to high school, helping students choose suitable academic and career pathways.

According to the plan, career and educational orientation activities will be implemented in schools in line with local labor demand and socio-economic development goals.
Moreover, students will receive information about career options, the labor market, and career selection skills. Schools will also expand hands-on experiences through visits to production and business facilities, while applying digital technology in career counseling activities.
Educational institutions are expected to cooperate with vocational schools, universities, and businesses to organize online and in-person counseling programs. These activities aim to help students choose suitable pathways after graduation.
Notably, Lam Dong encourages models that combine general education with vocational training. The province is also strengthening connections between businesses, traditional craft villages, and schools to expand career experience opportunities for students.
The provincial People’s Committee has assigned the Department of Education and Training to oversee the implementation of the plan across the province.
