Chairman of Lam Dong People’s Committee: Work Efficiency and Public Satisfaction as Key Metrics
This was the commitment made by Ho Van Muoi after being elected Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee with unanimous approval from the provincial People’s Council.

On March 30, at the first session of the 11th-term Lam Dong People’s Council (2026–2031), delegates elected the Chairman, Vice Chairpersons, and members of the Provincial People’s Committee. Ho Van Muoi, a member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, was elected Chairman with 100% approval (85/85 votes).
Following his election, Ho Van Muoi described the role as both a great honor and a significant responsibility before the Party, government, and people of the province.

He stated that the provincial leadership would build on existing achievements while promoting stronger innovation and more decisive actions to effectively implement socio-economic development tasks in the new phase.
Amid ongoing challenges, the province will focus on improving governance efficiency, maximizing its potential, and utilizing resources effectively to turn opportunities into tangible outcomes. Development will follow a sustainable path, placing people at the center.

Key growth pillars will continue to include high-tech agriculture, high-quality tourism, green economy, and digital transformation. The province will also intensify efforts to improve the investment environment, enhance competitiveness, and attract social resources.
At the same time, Lam Dong will prioritize the development of inter-regional transport infrastructure, digital infrastructure, and production-supporting systems, laying the foundation for digital transformation and economic growth.
In the social sector, the province will focus on improving living standards, advancing education and healthcare, and ensuring social welfare. Environmental protection, natural resource management, and national defense and security will also be strengthened.

Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized the need to build an integrity-driven, disciplined, and service-oriented administration for both citizens and businesses. Administrative reform, digital transformation, and anti-corruption efforts will be accelerated across the system.
