Da Lat Cherry Blossom Festival – Spring 2026 Officially Concludes

Attending the closing ceremony were Mr. Tran Hong Thai, Member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology; Mr. Bui Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee; leaders of provincial departments and agencies; representatives of Xuan Huong- Da Lat Ward; business representatives; along with a large number of residents and tourists.

In her closing remarks, Mrs. Tran Thi Vu Loan, Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Xuan Huong- Da Lat Ward People’s Committee, said that the Da Lat Cherry Blossom Festival – Spring 2026, themed “Da Lat Cherry Blossom – Where Spring Colors Converge,” was successfully organized with a series of 11 integrated experiential events, harmoniously combining tourism, culture, arts and community life.

According to organizers, the festival not only celebrated the beauty of cherry blossoms — the iconic symbol of spring in Da Lat — but also promoted the image of local people as gentle, elegant and hospitable. The event further strengthened the Da Lat – Lam Dong tourism brand while stimulating local travel demand during the peak holiday season.

Highlights of this year’s festival included the immersive opening performance “Da Lat Cherry Blossom – Where Spring Colors Converge,” trade promotion activities linking cherry blossoms with the Da Lat brand, and creative art spaces and community-based experiences.

Notably, the digital map introducing cherry blossom viewing spots attracted more than 20,000 users with over 110,000 visits, contributing to innovative tourism information access and the development of a smart, modern destination image.

In parallel, the festival spread messages of sustainable development through tree planting activities, environmental clean-up campaigns and urban landscape enhancement.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee honored and rewarded collectives with outstanding achievements in coordinating and organizing the festival, and expressed gratitude to sponsors and participating forces that contributed to the success of this year’s event.

Concluding the ceremony, Mrs. Tran Thi Vu Loan emphasized that although the festival has ended, the pink hues of cherry blossoms will continue to bloom along many streets, preserving beautiful memories of a hospitable and culturally rich Da Lat. She also expressed confidence that future festivals will continue to be renewed, further enhancing their quality, appeal and cultural value.
