Da Lat Flower Festival 2026 Identity Gets a Redesign
Lam Dong is refining the visual identity for the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival to create a distinctive image that reflects the province's expanded space, cultural values and new development ambitions.
On the afternoon of September 7, Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan chaired a meeting with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to review progress on developing the visual identity for the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival 2026.

At the meeting, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented two design concepts prepared by a consulting unit.
The first concept uses multicolored roses as its central image, with vibrant colors highlighting the diversity of Da Lat's flowers. The youthful and modern design is intended to be adaptable across a wide range of communication and promotional materials.

The second concept centers on the message “Da Lat - A Symphony of Flowers and Music,” connecting flowers, music, culture and people with the province's expanded development space. It also incorporates the themes of a green economy, high-quality tourism and cultural industries.

After reviewing the two concepts, Vice Chairman Dinh Van Tuan acknowledged the efforts and initiative of the agencies involved but said the designs had not yet met expectations or created a sufficiently distinctive image for the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival.
He asked the consulting unit to continue researching new approaches that are more innovative, impressive and clearly differentiated from previous editions of the festival.
The visual identity must be highly recognizable and memorable while reflecting Lam Dong's position, expanded geographical space and new values following the province's administrative expansion.

The visual identity must also strike a balance between the message “Lam Dong - A Green Symphony” and the main theme of the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival, creating consistency in promoting the province's image.

The provincial leader emphasized that the identity should go beyond serving as a symbol for a single festival edition.
The visual identity must not be limited to a single festival. It should become a long-term promotional tool for the image of Da Lat and Lam Dong, helping promote tourism and the cultural industries while spreading the heritage values and the image of local people.
