Da Lat Flower Festival 2026 to Feature 11 Major Events
The People's Committee of Lam Dong Province has officially announced plans for the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival 2026, themed “Da Lat – A Symphony of Flowers and Music.” The event is expected to showcase 11 signature programs, combining the city’s floral heritage with large-scale cultural and musical experiences.
A Year-Long Celebration Culminating in December
The 11th Da Lat Flower Festival will be a province-wide cultural and tourism event, featuring activities throughout 2026, with the main festival season taking place in late December.
The festival aims to promote the culture, people, and tourism potential of Da Lat–Lam Dong while reinforcing Da Lat’s status as a UNESCO Creative City of Music.
Beyond honoring flowers and the floriculture industry, the event is expected to strengthen cooperation among organizations, businesses, and localities from Vietnam and abroad, supporting the sustainable development of the flower sector.
Flowers and Music Take Center Stage
A key highlight of the 2026 festival will be the fusion of Da Lat’s iconic floral landscapes and highland scenery with major artistic and musical performances, creating a distinctive identity for the City of Flowers.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for the evening of December 19, 2026, at Lam Vien Square, while the closing ceremony and 2027 New Year countdown concert will take place on December 31, 2026.

Eleven Signature Programs Planned
According to the organizing committee, the festival will include 11 major programs, including:
- The campaign “Every Citizen Plants Flowers, Every Home Grows Flowers and Greenery” in celebration of the festival.
- A seminar on Science, Technology and Innovation as Drivers of Sustainable Development for the Da Lat Flower Value Chain.
- The 3rd Vietnam Brocade Culture Festival.
- The Vietnam Jazz Festival 2026.
- A modern music and dance carnival featuring bands and performance groups.
Local authorities across communes, wards, and special administrative zones have also been instructed to organize festival-related activities and community events.
Community Participation at the Heart of the Festival
Under the provincial plan, each locality is expected to host at least one activity in response to the festival while encouraging residents to beautify neighborhoods through flower and tree planting campaigns.
The movement aims to transform homes, streets, and public spaces into vibrant floral displays, creating a festive atmosphere throughout Lam Dong Province.
Building on a Successful Legacy
Over the past two decades, Lam Dong has successfully organized ten editions of the Da Lat Flower Festival, helping strengthen the city's image as one of Vietnam’s leading tourism destinations.
The festival has consistently attracted large numbers of domestic and international visitors, contributing significantly to tourism growth, service-sector revenue, and the promotion of Da Lat’s unique cultural identity on the global stage.
