Develop Data Center that Meet International Standards
Under the National Innovation Program for the development of strategic technology products through 2030, Lam Dong Province is prioritizing an international-standard data center.

Accordingly, IoT sensor systems are applied to support smart agriculture, urban management, and tourism; AI is used for traceability, cultivation-area management, and yield forecasting; Big Data is utilized for market analysis, management support, and policy planning; and smart tourism platforms, digital maps, and interoperable data systems are developed.
Furthermore, the province is working on various strategic technology initiatives, including: utilizing blockchain technology to trace the source of specialty agricultural goods such as vegetables, flowers, coffee, and tea; implementing supply chain management systems for agriculture, tourism, and logistics; developing robots and automated machinery for the initial processing and further processing of agricultural products; creating smart devices for high-tech agricultural production; applying virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and other emerging digital technologies for marketing destinations and tourism offerings; innovating experiential and creative tourism models; deploying unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for agricultural tasks and environmental tourism assessments; monitoring forests, preventing and controlling fires, and safeguarding natural resources.
The Provincial People’s Committee has tasked the Department of Science and Technology with leading a survey and evaluation of the current technological landscape of enterprises in the province, in collaboration with relevant departments, sectors, and localities. They will also investigate emerging technology trends and create or update the technology innovation roadmap.
Additionally, the department will serve as the main point for cooperation with central agencies, research institutes, universities, experts, and both domestic and international businesses to organize seminars, workshops, and science and technology forums to gather feedback and finalize reports proposing a list of key technologies along with suitable support policies.
