In early March 2026, thousands of domestic and international athletes gathered in Di Linh to take part in trail running, mountain biking, and a challenging swim-run competition. In recent years, the area has increasingly become a popular destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts.

The main events—the Brah Yang Trail Summit 2026 and the Di Linh Mountain Bike Summit—were held in Di Linh and Bao Thuan communes, home to Mount Brah Yang, which rises to 1,879 meters above sea level, and Kala Lake, spanning over 300 hectares. The combination of pristine forests and a vast lake creates a unique landscape that attracts visitors.

Part of the “Lamdong Outdoor Festival 2026,” the events drew nearly 4,000 participants over three days, combining competition with opportunities to explore local nature and culture.

The Brah Yang Trail Summit, held for the second time, featured distances from 10 to 100 km, with routes from 30 km and above meeting international scoring standards. A highlight was the Aquathlon Trail, combining a 2 km swim in Kala Lake with a 10 km run around the mountain.

Meanwhile, the mountain bike race attracted over 100 cyclists, competing on trails designed to reflect the area’s natural terrain and provide exciting challenges.

Beyond sports, these events help promote Di Linh’s landscapes and cultural identity, contributing to tourism development and sustainable economic growth.

The large number of visitors attending these events also creates more jobs for local residents, while promoting community-based tourism and forest-based tourism. We hope Bao Thuan – Di Linh will continue to grow as an attractive destination for sports and tourism in the province in the coming time

Ms. Pham Thi Yen, Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Division of Bao Thuan Commune People’s Committee.
