Unlike the bustling beaches of Mui Ne or the crowded center of Phan Thiet, Tien Thanh Ward (Lam Dong province) presents itself as a pristine, simple coastal landscape rich with local character. Amid the rapid development of tourism, Tien Thanh is gradually awakening, emerging as a potential destination for those who love nature and seek a peaceful retreat.

Untouched beauty: blue seas and white sands

Located about 7 km south of the center of Phan Thiet commune, Tien Thanh Beach stretches along a diverse and picturesque natural landscape. The beach here is not noisy or crowded, lacking the numerous stalls and resorts common in other areas. Instead, it offers a tranquil setting with white sandy beaches, deep blue waters, whispering casuarinas swaying in the wind, and fishing baskets resting quietly in the golden sunlight.

In the mornings, as the sun begins to rise on the horizon, the entire Tien Thanh sea comes alive. This is also the time when local fishermen start their day, casting nets, harvesting, and trading seafood. Visitors can easily witness fishermen paddling out in their baskets, pulling up nets filled with fresh fish, shrimp, and squid, all bursting with the flavors of the sea. Notably, the air at Tien Thanh is fresh and pleasant year-round, making it an ideal spot for long-term relaxation. The long, flat beach with gentle waves is safe for both adults and children, making it a great family-friendly destination.

Experiencing local fishing culture

One of the standout features that makes Tien Thanh sea special is the preservation of its fishing village culture. Visitors not only come to admire the sea but also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the daily lives of the locals. From activities such as netting fish, sorting catches, and drying seafood to preparing simple meals with fishing families, these experiences are both enjoyable and memorable. Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, a fisherman who has lived in Tien Thanh for over 40 years, shares, "In the past, only locals knew about Tien Thanh Beach, but now many tourists from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi come here. They love the quiet beach and the rustic lifestyle. We try to maintain our old way of life so that visitors can feel the difference."

Tien Thanh – An emerging hub for vibrant tourism and leisure projects

For young explorers, strolling along the sandy beach at sunset, conversing with the elders about fishing traditions, or enjoying a dinner of grilled squid, fresh scallops, and oyster porridge provides a distinctly local experience that is hard to find elsewhere. With its poetic scenery, tranquility, and minimal impact from urbanization, Tien Thanh is highly regarded by travel companies and investors for its potential in developing high-end resort tourism. Many eco-resorts and beachfront villas are currently being planned and implemented, promising to make Tien Thanh a bright new spot in Lam Dong's tourism landscape.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Khoa from Sao Mai Travel Company, based in Binh Thuan Ward, noted, "Our clients currently favor quiet places close to nature with their own unique character, and Tien Thanh has all of those elements. If developed appropriately, while preserving the environment and maintaining local culture, it will become an ideal destination for resort tourism in the future."

A notable advantage of Tien Thanh is its convenient geographical location. From Phan Thiet, it takes less than 15 minutes to reach via a picturesque coastal road. Furthermore, with the operation of the Dau Giay - Phan Thiet expressway, the travel time from Ho Chi Minh City to Tien Thanh has been reduced to about 2.5 hours, attracting more tourists on weekends or during short holidays.

Tien Thanh also connects various famous landmarks, such as the Po Sah Inư Tower, Ke Ga Lighthouse, Nhum Stream, and coastal tourism routes in La Gi. With these conditions, Tien Thanh is well-positioned to become a satellite tourism center in Southeast of Lam Dong province. As popular beaches nationwide, including those in Lam Dong, become increasingly crowded, Tien Thanh retains its pristine charm. Here, visitors can find peace, a slower pace of life, and memorable moments amidst the fresh nature and warm hospitality of the locals.
