Driving Efforts Toward Sustainable Double-Digit Growth

The ceremony was attended by leaders of the Party and State, ministries, sectors, localities, and the business community from across the country.

At the Lam Dong provincial venue, participants included Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Ho Van Muoi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Luu Van Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, along with representatives of provincial departments, agencies, and local authorities.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Politburo Member, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Central Council for Emulation and Commendation Le Minh Hung emphasized that achieving annual economic growth of 10% or higher during the 2026–2030 period is a strategic requirement for realizing Vietnam’s aspiration to become an upper-middle-income country by 2030 and a developed, high-income nation by 2045.

To achieve this goal, the Prime Minister stressed the need for a fundamental transformation in development thinking under the guiding principle: “Strategic Vision – Breakthrough Thinking – Decisive Action – Sustainable Growth – People’s Happiness.”

He called on authorities at all levels, sectors, localities, businesses, and citizens nationwide to intensify emulation efforts in key areas, including institutional reform, the development of science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, synchronized infrastructure development, modern public administration, thrift practice, and waste reduction.

At the same time, efforts must continue to ensure national defense and security, promote social welfare, and improve people’s living standards.

The Prime Minister underscored that emulation must become a driving force for action, creating new momentum for the country’s rapid and sustainable development.

Lam Dong Targets Growth of Over 10% Annually

In response to the movement, Lam Dong has set a target of achieving average annual growth of 10–10.5% during the 2026–2030 period while maintaining macroeconomic stability and improving people's living standards, thereby contributing to building a strong and prosperous Vietnam.

To realize this objective, the province will focus on a range of key tasks, including the effective implementation of the provincial master plan; accelerating strategic infrastructure projects and regional expressway connections; improving public investment capital disbursement; resolving obstacles for 365 projects with total registered capital exceeding VND 267 trillion; promoting science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation; and developing competitive sectors such as high-tech agriculture, the bauxite–alumina–aluminum industry chain, renewable energy, eco-tourism, the marine economy, and the forest economy.

Representatives of ministries, sectors, localities, and businesses participating in the movement pledged to effectively implement action programs, promote innovation, improve productivity, quality, and competitiveness, and contribute to achieving the nation’s sustainable double-digit growth target.

At the ceremony, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, together with leaders of the Party, State, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and Ho Chi Minh City, officially launched the emulation movement “Determined to Successfully Achieve Sustainable Double-Digit Growth Targets for the 2026–2030 Period.”

The event aimed to spread the spirit of patriotic emulation and strengthen the determination to take action for rapid and sustainable national development in the new era.
