Enhancing International Tourism Development
In recent months, international arrivals to Lam Dong have shown strong signs of recovery, with impressive growth in visitor numbers. Alongside the domestic market, the local tourism sector is seeking to tap this promising international segment more effectively.

International arrivals to Lam Dong rose in the early months of 2026, prompting the province’s tourism sector to intensify its promotional activities and explore new markets.
During the first quarter of 2026, the province received over 6 million visitors, up 22.5% from the same period last year, including about 524,500 international arrivals, up 27.43%.

Lam Dong’s tourism sector aims to attract 1.58 million international tourists this year, marking a 22.8% increase from 2025. The primary source markets currently include South Korea, China, Russia, the United States, Germany, and the UK, with visitors largely travelling to coastal regions and Da Lat.
To achieve this goal, the province intends to launch a series of summer tourism activities from mid-April through the end of August, host a Lam Dong Culture and Tourism Festival in Ho Chi Minh City in May, and organize the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival in December.

Alongside its traditional markets, Lam Dong is also seeking to attract more visitors from Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe and North America. The province has proposed closer coordination with diplomatic agencies, travel firms, airlines and booking platforms to promote its image as a destination, as Lien Khuong Airport remains temporarily closed for upgrades and repairs.
