Ensuring Optimal Conditions for Residents During the Lunar New Year
This directive was emphasized by Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Lam Dong.

Comprehensive Review of Essential Services
The provincial chairman has instructed departments and local authorities to conduct a comprehensive review of essential services to serve residents during the Lunar New Year. Electricity, water supply, transportation and environmental conditions must be fully guaranteed, ensuring public spaces remain bright, green, clean and beautiful.
Following recent traffic congestion on National Highway 28B, Chairman Ho Van Muoi directed relevant units and localities to urgently review and address shortcomings in transport infrastructure to facilitate safe and convenient travel during the Lunar New Year.
For ongoing transport infrastructure projects, investors and contractors are required to develop scientifically organized traffic management plans to maintain smooth circulation and minimize congestion, particularly during peak travel periods before and during Tet.
Construction sites must be equipped with adequate signage, barriers and warning lights. Personnel must be stationed at critical points to promptly coordinate responses to traffic incidents, accidents or other unforeseen situations.

Chairman Ho Van Muoi also instructed local authorities to comprehensively inspect urban infrastructure systems, including public lighting, drainage, parks, green spaces, recreational areas, public squares and residential neighborhoods. Damaged or deteriorated facilities must be repaired in a timely manner to prevent safety risks or environmental pollution during Lunar New Year 2026.
Special attention must be given to central streets and areas hosting cultural and festival activities, ensuring synchronized upgrades that meet both aesthetic and technical safety standards.

The provincial chairman further called for intensified environmental sanitation efforts, including the collection, transport and treatment of household waste to prevent prolonged accumulation. Communication campaigns are to be strengthened to encourage residents to uphold urban civility and maintain public cleanliness.

Heads of departments and local administrations are required to increase on-site inspections and promptly resolve emerging issues. The overarching objective is to ensure smooth traffic flow, maintain clean and orderly urban landscapes and provide a safe, healthy living environment, enabling residents to welcome the Lunar New Year in a joyful, secure and festive atmosphere.
