Exploring a Modern Learning Environment at UPT

The initiative was designed to give high school students a chance to experience a university learning environment while they are still in school. This allows students to better navigate their future career paths, gain a clearer understanding of the academic prerequisites, and prepare more effectively for what lies ahead.

Representing the University of Phan Thiet were Master Luong Quoc Vu, Deputy Head of the Academic Affairs Office and Deputy Director of the Center for Foreign Languages, Informatics, and Human Resource Development, together with faculty members, staff, and students from various departments, who warmly welcomed the visiting delegation.

While addressing the audience at the event, Master Luong Quoc Vu highlighted the university's strong focus on enhancing collaboration with high schools in the areas of education and career guidance. He also expressed hope that the partnership between the two institutions would continue to grow, bringing tangible benefits to students in the future.

Throughout the program, representatives from both sides exchanged commemorative gifts, signifying mutual respect and a robust spirit of collaboration. This initiative was not only symbolically meaningful but also reaffirmed a commitment to long-term cooperation in student recruitment counseling, career orientation, and student support.

Students from Bui Thi Xuan High School participated in a series of excursions and hands-on activities across different departments at UPT. At the Faculty of Tourism, students explored the operational aspects of hotel and restaurant settings while developing vital professional skills such as communication, problem-solving, and professionalism.

At the Faculty of Health Sciences, students were introduced to modern laboratories, practice facilities, and advanced training technologies, highlighting UPT’s capacity to meet hands-on learning needs and strengthen students’ professional skills in healthcare.

One of the key features of the program was a mock trial organized by the Faculty of Economic Law. In this setting, students had the opportunity to directly observe and engage in court proceedings, assuming roles like judges, attorneys, and defendants. This experience gave them a vivid view of the legal profession and a more profound understanding of its duties and essence.

Additionally, during the Engineering and Technology workshop, students were exposed to contemporary machinery and equipment and had the opportunity to practice fundamental technical skills, such as welding, under the supervision of instructors. These activities provided students with a dynamic perspective on the fields of engineering and technology, helping shape their future career paths.

The “UPT Day 2026 – Experience and Career Orientation (4th edition)” event made a significant positive impact and offered valuable experiences for the students involved.

Through a variety of activities, students not only gained a better understanding of the learning atmosphere at the University of Phan Thiet but also built a stronger foundation for making informed decisions about their future fields of study and careers. This is a crucial step in boosting their confidence as they prepare for the upcoming high school graduation exam and the university admission process.
