External Communications Promote Lam Dong's Global Profile
As international integration deepens, external communications have become an increasingly important bridge connecting Lam Dong with audiences at home and abroad, helping promote the province's investment potential, tourism appeal and distinctive values of its nature, culture and people.

Strengthening the Lam Dong Brand
In an increasingly interconnected world, external communications continue to reinforce their role as a key channel for introducing Lam Dong to the international community.
Beyond communicating policies and development strategies, external communications help tell compelling stories about the province's landscapes, cultural identity, people and development potential, strengthening the image of Lam Dong as a dynamic destination with strong prospects for sustainable growth.
In recent years, the province has implemented external communication activities in a coordinated manner through three pillars: Party diplomacy, State diplomacy and people-to-people diplomacy. Exchanges with international partners, investment promotion activities, cultural cooperation and educational programs have expanded international partnerships while effectively showcasing Lam Dong's strengths and opportunities.
During the first six months of 2026 alone, Lam Dong welcomed 103 international delegations comprising 406 visitors from more than 10 countries, while hosting 19 international conferences and seminars. The province is currently home to 236 active foreign direct investment (FDI) projects from 31 countries and territories, with total registered capital exceeding US$8.95 billion.
These achievements not only reflect the province's increasingly attractive investment environment but also demonstrate the effectiveness of integrating external communications with investment, trade and tourism promotion.

People-to-people diplomacy has also continued to make a positive impression through friendship exchanges, meetings with overseas Vietnamese communities, Lao and Cambodian students, and social welfare programs, further strengthening international friendship while promoting the image of Lam Dong as an open, welcoming province with a rich cultural identity.
Bringing Lam Dong Closer to the World
Across the province, external communication efforts are increasingly delivered through news media and digital platforms operated by provincial agencies and local authorities, creating faster, more engaging and far-reaching channels for promoting Lam Dong.

Many agencies have also developed integrated digital communication ecosystems to support international outreach.
The Department of Foreign Affairs has upgraded its bilingual Vietnamese-English website and operates the "Lam Dong International Integration" Facebook page. Meanwhile, the Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center maintains a bilingual information portal, the "Da Lat – Tourism Paradise" TikTok channel, a VR360 virtual tourism map, and lamdongconnection.vn, which has published around 350 bilingual articles introducing the province's tourism, investment opportunities and business environment.

These digital platforms are helping tell Lam Dong's stories through innovative formats—from short videos showcasing Da Lat's flower seasons and infographics highlighting high-tech agriculture to photo essays featuring ethnic cultures and virtual journeys through the Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark.
As a result, external communications have become more accessible, engaging and appealing to both domestic and international audiences.

The effectiveness of these promotional efforts is also reflected in the province's tourism growth.
During the first half of 2026, Lam Dong welcomed nearly 12 million visitors, up 18.1 percent compared with the same period in 2025. International arrivals reached approximately 825,000, an increase of 18.6 percent year on year.
These figures underscore the province's growing appeal while highlighting the effectiveness of integrating external communications with tourism promotion, investment attraction and place branding.
