Imprints of Cultural, Sports, and Tourism Momentum
In 2025, Lam Dong’s culture, sports and tourism sector overcame challenges through proactive adaptation, delivering tangible results that enhanced cultural life and supported sustainable socio-economic development.

Cultural Preservation as a Development Pillar
After administrative consolidation, Lam Dong now possesses a rich cultural heritage system with 144 relics of various levels, creating strong potential for cultural tourism development linked to ethnic identity preservation.
Throughout 2025, heritage conservation continued to receive investment, with many historical and cultural relics restored and promoted. The Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark was gradually exploited more effectively, while museums and historical sites attracted large numbers of visitors and played an important role in education and cultural transmission.
A wide range of cultural festivals and artistic programs—such as the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day, Lam Dong Culture Day in Hanoi, the Southeast Asian Gong Festival, the Tea and Coffee Festivals, and major provincial ceremonies—created a vibrant cultural atmosphere and contributed to promoting the image of Lam Dong. Programs preserving ethnic minority cultural values, closely linked with tourism development, helped enhance community participation and safeguard traditional heritage.
Sports Reaching New Heights
The mass sports movement continued to grow strongly, with 35% of the population exercising regularly and more than 1,500 grassroots sports clubs operating effectively. Campaigns such as “All People Exercise Following Uncle Ho’s Example” were widely implemented through diverse sporting events.

By prioritizing infrastructure and fostering public-private partnerships, the province has successfully aligned athletic excellence with tourism and sports-driven economic growth.
Tourism Recovery and Sustainable Growth
Tourism rebounded impressively in 2025, welcoming over 20.7 million visitors, including nearly 1.3 million international arrivals. Tourism revenue reached an estimated VND 56.8 trillion, reaffirming tourism as a key economic sector. The province’s tourism infrastructure continued to expand in both scale and quality, with diversified products oriented toward green and sustainable growth, closely connected to heritage, local culture, and distinctive cuisine.
Promotion and regional linkage activities were intensified, alongside the application of digital technology and artificial intelligence. The gradual formation of a smart tourism ecosystem has improved visitor experience and enhanced Lam Dong’s competitiveness as a destination.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Van Tuan emphasized that the achievements of 2025 provide an important foundation for continued innovation and development in the coming years, helping position Lam Dong as an attractive cultural, sports, and tourism destination both regionally and nationwide.
