International Travelers Captivated by the Charms of Lam Dong’s Coastline
Since the beginning of the year, Lam Dong’s coastal destinations have welcomed a growing number of international visitors drawn by the promise of relaxation and authentic seaside experiences. This trend is an encouraging sign for the local tourism industry, suggesting that the province’s coastline is building a lasting appeal among global travelers through its harmonious blend of adventure sports, iconic sand dunes, and refined seaside retreats.
Finding a quiet corner by the pool, sipping a chilled drink, and sharing stories with a close friend—this is how Cosimo Piscopo, an Australian traveler, immerses himself in nature and embraces each new day of his four-day retreat. For him, this inaugural visit has far exceeded his expectations of this new destination. Piscopo said “This is my first time in Mui Ne, and honestly I never expected to find a place quite like this. It’s truly wonderful. There’s no noise, I can simply sit and relax for hours in my own way. I haven't picked up a book in a long time, but this morning, I sat by the sea, reading and swimming. It is absolute perfection.”

A Year-Round Destination
Coastal resorts are welcoming an increasingly diverse mix of international guests, with key markets including Russia, Australia, China, South Korea, and Japan. At many properties, foreign travelers now account for more than half of total occupancy, marking a significant shift in the local tourism landscape.
Than Ha Thu, Sales Director of a resort in Mui Ne, said, "Beyond traditional group tours, we are seeing a remarkable surge in international bookings via online platforms. International guests are no longer confined to the traditional 'winter sun' season and are now arriving year-round, with many choosing to stay much longer."
This vibrant growth has been driven by favorable visa policies and stronger tourism promotion, which have helped put the region on the global radar. What truly sets it apart, however, is the harmony between nature and heritage. With its idyllic climate and a signature mix of high-quality retreats, indigenous cultural experiences, and vibrant local cuisine, the region is building a lasting appeal among international travelers.

Diana Kay (Australia) said: "Everything here is beautiful—we truly feel as though we’ve found paradise. After researching online, we chose this resort for its stunning architecture and beachfront setting. I’m deeply touched by the hospitality, the warmth of the people, and the fantastic food. I will certainly return and recommend this place to my friends."
Mr. Glen Peeters (Belgium) shared: "This is the final stop on our family journey across Vietnam. We were told Mui Ne was the perfect place to reconnect with nature, and it has not disappointed. We’ve loved the resort grounds, the swimming, and the authentic local flavors. Next on our list is an ATV ride across the sand dunes and a deeper exploration of the local culture."

A Promising Outlook
According to the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, Vietnam has welcomed more than 2 million international arrivals a month for three consecutive months, marking a historic milestone. In line with that national trend, the provincial tourism sector recorded a 27% rise in international arrivals in the first quarter of 2026. Booking.com data also placed Mui Ne among the top 10 most-searched destinations in Vietnam among global travelers for the first half of the year.
The increase in visitor numbers and the growing diversity of source markets are not only encouraging signs, but also evidence of a broader shift in the local tourism industry. By focusing more on tailored experiences and green tourism, Mui Ne is positioning itself to meet the evolving expectations of international travelers, who increasingly value sustainability and authentic local connections.
