On the night of December 31, as the clock counted down to the New Year, resorts across Mui Ne buzzed with international guests. Each property organized its own New Year celebration featuring traditional art performances, lion dances, bamboo pole dancing, sparkling wine toasts, and firework displays.

Many travelers sought out the perfect spot to capture memorable moments of their celebration. The family of Mr. Khegai Denis and Mrs. Khegai Marina from Russia was among them.

Mrs. Marina said: “The party was wonderful, so we couldn’t miss the chance to capture some photos as keepsakes. What impressed us most were the performances — especially the lion dance and the traditional Cham dances.”

Beyond the backdrop reading “Happy New Year,” tourists eagerly took selfies with lion dancers and joined performers in traditional Cham dances.

A manager of a resort within the Mui Ne National Tourism Area shared that international guests accounted for more than 90 percent of arrivals, mainly from Western and Eastern Europe. To meet guest expectations, the resort organized a farewell-to-the-old-year and welcome-the-new-year party.

In 2025, Lam Dong welcomed more than 20.7 million visitors, up 18 percent compared with 2024 (106 percent of the annual target). Of these, international visitors reached approximately 1.28 million, an increase of nearly 40 percent. Tourism revenue was estimated at about VND 56.8 trillion, up 24.5 percent.
