Lam Dong Accelerates Disbursement Progress for Expressway Projects
On May 22, Nguyen Hong Hai, member of the Standing Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong People's Committee, chaired a meeting to review the implementation progress and public investment disbursement plans for two expressway projects: the Tan Phu – Bao Loc Expressway and the Bao Loc – Lien Khuong Expressway.

According to the Lam Dong Provincial Land Development Center, the total capital allocation planned for 2026 for the Tan Phu – Bao Loc Expressway is VND 1,748.482 billion, while the allocation for the Bao Loc – Lien Khuong Expressway is VND 2,940.421 billion.

For the Tan Phu – Bao Loc Expressway Project, the projected total cost of implementation is VND 1,248.5 billion. Out of this total, VND 611.919 billion was disbursed in 2025, while the remaining VND 636.581 billion is anticipated to be disbursed in 2026.
Currently, the project has disbursed VND 42.315 billion. The total disbursement is expected to reach VND 215.213 billion by May 31, 2026, and VND 636.581 billion by June 30, 2026.

For the Bao Loc – Lien Khuong Expressway Project, the projected total cost of implementation is VND 3,836.2 billion. Out of this total, VND 2,745.101 billion is expected to be disbursed in 2025, while the remaining VND 1,091.099 billion is anticipated to be allocated in 2026.
To date, the project has disbursed VND 41.941 billion. The cumulative disbursement is projected to reach VND 204.814 billion by May 31, 2026, and VND 1,091.099 billion by June 30, 2026.
According to the Lam Dong Land Fund Development Center, the capital allocated under the approved investment plans for the two projects currently exceeds actual implementation needs. Consequently, the center has proposed that relevant departments and sectors advise the Provincial People’s Committee on reallocating the surplus funds to other provincial projects to improve the efficiency of public investment.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyen Hong Hai urged the Provincial Land Development Center to collaborate effectively with local authorities to carry out a comprehensive review of the compensation and site clearance processes for the two expressway projects, while addressing challenges and accelerating implementation.
He also emphasized the need for an immediate assessment of capital requirements and a proactive allocation of funds to construction packages to ensure efficient disbursement and avoid waste of capital.
Additionally, the Vice Chairman tasked the relevant departments and agencies with formulating proposals for reallocating excess project funds to other initiatives and projects that require financial support, thereby improving the effectiveness of public investment across the province.
