The “Entrepreneurs’ Coffee” program, proposed by the provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, has received in-principle approval from the Provincial People’s Committee. The model will be implemented in a practical, cost-effective, and efficient manner.

A platform for effective government–business dialogue

In recent months, the Center has taken the lead in developing an implementation plan. The program aims to promptly receive and address feedback from businesses and cooperatives operating in Lam Dong. It will also strengthen direct dialogue between authorities and the business community, helping resolve obstacles in investment and production activities.

Through this mechanism, the province expects to improve the investment climate, enhance its Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI), and reinforce trust by demonstrating a close government–business partnership.

Under the proposal, the sessions will be held every two weeks on Thursday mornings at Dinh II, Ward 10, Da Lat City. Midweek meetings are considered appropriate because relevant agencies are fully operational, allowing business concerns to be addressed promptly. Weekend sessions, by contrast, may be less convenient for businesses, especially in tourism and services, when operations are at their peak.

Ensuring efficiency, transparency, and real impact

Each session, lasting about 90 minutes, will feature direct exchanges between government agencies and businesses. Participants will include provincial leaders, relevant departments aligned with specific themes, representatives of the organizing Center, local authorities, enterprises, cooperatives, and media agencies. The focus will be on receiving business feedback, providing immediate responses within authority, and recording issues that require further coordination.

The program is required to be substantive and efficient, avoiding formalism. Discussions must stay focused, with clear conclusions and well-defined responsibilities. It will also ensure the timely receipt of business feedback and its transfer to competent authorities for handling in accordance with regulations, while maintaining transparency, objectivity, and fairness.

To ensure effectiveness, sessions will only be held when at least 5–10 businesses or cooperatives register; otherwise, submissions will be carried forward to the next session.

Nguyen Thi Hong Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial Business Association and Director of Co.opmart Phan Thiet, described the program as an important bridge between government and the business community. It offers enterprises a platform for direct dialogue, where their concerns can be heard and addressed in a timely manner, thereby fostering a more favorable business environment. She expressed hope that the “Entrepreneurs’ Coffee” program will be effectively implemented and sustained in the coming time.

According to the proposal by the provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, the “Entrepreneurs’ Coffee” program will be held every two weeks, allowing sufficient time to compile, review, and process business feedback and proposals. This schedule also enables relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities to coordinate and address emerging issues between sessions.
