Lam Dong beat Vinh Long 3-0 in National Second Division clash
Lam Dong secured a 3-0 win over Vinh Long on April 14 in a Round 5 Group B match of the 2026 National Second Division, played at Da Lat Stadium.
Both sides started cautiously in the first half, with Lam Dong creating the clearer chances but unable to break through a disciplined Vinh Long defense.
The deadlock was broken in the second half. In the 67th minute, Nguyen Huu Tiep, wearing No.14, finished a right-wing move with a powerful shot to give Lam Dong the lead.
Just three minutes later, Nguyen Huu Tiep struck again, doubling the advantage to 2-0.
Vinh Long came under sustained pressure late in the match as Lam Dong pushed forward. In the 89th minute, Nguyen Vu Truong Giang (No.23) headed home from close range to seal a 3-0 victory.
Lam Dong have played four matches in Group B after a scheduled bye in Round 3. The team recorded three wins and one draw, collecting 10 points.
Lam Dong will next face Tay Ninh on April 19 at Da Lat Stadium.
