Lam Dong Business Community Supports Students

Businesses and entrepreneurs in Lam Dong have provided scholarships, gifts and education funding to disadvantaged students as the 2026-2027 school year begins across Vietnam

On the morning of September 5, as schools across the country held ceremonies to mark the start of the new school year, business associations and entrepreneurs' organizations in Lam Dong organized a range of activities to support students, particularly ethnic minority students and those facing difficult circumstances.

In Tan Ha Lam Ha Commune, the Lam Dong Business Association joined the Entrepreneurs for Community Fund under the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association to present 200 scholarships and gift packages to disadvantaged ethnic minority students.

The program was held at Lan Tranh 2 Primary School in Tan Lap Village and Dan Phuong 2 Primary School in Sinh Cong Village.

At each school, 100 students received support. Each package included VND500,000 in cash and gifts worth VND200,000.

The total value of scholarships and gifts distributed through the program reached VND140 million.

Scholarships and gifts reach ethnic minority students

Also on the morning of September 5, representatives of the Dak Nong Women's Entrepreneurs Association attended opening ceremonies and contributed to school scholarship funds.

The representatives presented VND5 million to each of the two schools: Tran Van On School in Bac Gia Nghia Ward and Nguyen Binh Khiem School in Nam Gia Nghia Ward.

According to the Lam Dong Business Association, providing scholarships on the first day of the school year is a practical way to support students.

The assistance not only helps ease part of the financial burden associated with education but also conveys encouragement and support from the business community to students facing difficult circumstances.

Through these activities, businesses hope to give students greater motivation to overcome challenges, study diligently and confidently begin the new school year.
