Lam Dong Businesses Take the Lead in Double-Digit Growth
This was emphasized by Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Minh at a program marking Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13), organized by the provincial Business Association on October 6 in Phan Thiet Ward.

Taking the Lead in Lam Dong
At the event, the provincial Business Association said that following its first congress for the 2026 - 2031 term, it has focused on strengthening its organization, expanding membership, enhancing business connections, promoting trade, providing training and accelerating digital transformation. The association now has nearly 1,000 members operating in various fields.
Despite ongoing difficulties in production and business activities, the business community has continued to demonstrate a proactive and dynamic spirit, contributing to maintaining growth, creating jobs, generating budget revenue and improving workers’ livelihoods.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the provincial Business Association Nguyen Huu Thanh said the Party, State and Government have placed particular emphasis on the role of the private sector. Politburo Resolution No. 68 identifies the private sector as one of the most important drivers of the national economy, with a target of having 2 million operating enterprises nationwide by 2030.
The Government is also finalizing a draft Law on Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Development, which is expected to replace the current Law on Support for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.

We highly appreciate the provincial leadership’s attention to the business community. In particular, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee has repeatedly emphasized that the association must further strengthen its role, bring together the voices of businesses, promptly report their difficulties and obstacles, and work with the province to improve the investment and business environment

According to Nguyen Huu Thanh, Lam Dong has set a target of achieving double-digit growth in the coming period. Reaching this goal will require a stronger business community and private sector.
The provincial Business Association is working with the province to improve the investment environment, enhance competitiveness and improve the PCI and BPI scores, helping existing businesses feel confident about continuing to invest while encouraging new businesses to invest in Lam Dong.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Minh praised and highly appreciated the efforts and contributions of the province’s business community and entrepreneurs to local development. He emphasized that businesses and entrepreneurs are a driving force behind economic growth and one of the key drivers for achieving the province’s development goals.

Business Success Is Provincial Success
At the event, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Minh called on the business community to continue playing a pioneering role in achieving the province’s double-digit growth target during the “180-day campaign.”
Businesses should proactively set clear goals, make effective use of their potential, strengthen internal resources, seek new growth drivers, renew their thinking, improve productivity and operational efficiency, expand markets and increase investment.

The province has set a target of achieving GRDP growth of at least 10 percent. Vice Chairman Nguyen Minh said this target will depend largely on each business’s production capacity, investment scale, ability to expand markets and competitiveness.
Each business should proactively seize opportunities and turn them into concrete projects, products and results in production and business activities. Strong and efficient business growth will directly contribute to the province’s overall growth.

The second key task is to take the lead in improving the Business Performance Index (BPI). To this end, Vice Chairman Nguyen Minh called on businesses to continue promoting innovation and digital transformation, improve corporate governance, enhance transparency, build a strong corporate culture, and adopt professional and modern business standards.
Each business should continuously innovate and strengthen its capabilities to achieve sustainable growth and build trust among employees, partners, customers and society.

For its part, the province, its authorities and the Provincial People’s Committee will continue to accelerate administrative reform, strengthen accountability, proactively listen to businesses, work alongside them and promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles. The province will also create a favorable and transparent investment and business environment so that enterprises can invest, produce, operate and grow over the long term.
Business success is provincial success; business development is an important driver of provincial development. I hope the business community will continue to strengthen solidarity and cooperation, expand markets, enhance competitiveness, and fulfill its responsibilities to workers and the community.
