On April 9, Ho Van Muoi, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee led an on-site inspection of proposed locations for the southeastern Lam Dong coastal road project. The delegation comprised representatives from relevant departments and agencies.

The project extends 14.6 km through three wards—Phu Thuy, Phan Thiet, and Tien Thanh—and features a six-lane carriageway for motor vehicles.

The route will run from the DT706B roundabout in Phu Thuy Ward to DT719 at Cambodia Slope in Tien Thanh Ward. The total estimated investment is about VND 9.49 trillion.
Project Management Unit No. 2 has completed the selection of consultants and is preparing the pre-feasibility study report. The consultant is currently completing the required procedures.

Once completed, the project will significantly bolster the local transportation network, particularly coastal infrastructure, and serve as a catalyst for socio-economic growth across the region.

To ensure effective, on-schedule implementation, investors must select contractors with strong financial standing and proven construction expertise. Local authorities should strengthen land management, improve environmental sanitation, and preserve a green, clean, and attractive landscape.
