Lam Dong Deploys AI Applications Across Government Agencies
Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Ngoc Phuc has signed Document No. 13670 on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the operations of state administrative agencies across the province.
As a result, the Provincial People’s Committee has directed its Office (Information and Conference Center) to create and finalize the province’s Intelligent Operations and Monitoring Center (IOC).
The center will examine and implement AI to formulate “online and data-driven operational scenarios” in accordance with the guidelines and regulations issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology for the provincial-level Intelligent Operations and Monitoring Center model.
The Department of Science and Technology will maintain its leadership role and work in collaboration with relevant agencies, units, and localities to carry out a comprehensive pilot of the AI platform that supports public-service operations, as specified in Official Letter No. 4920 dated July 7, 2026, issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
At the same time, the department will continue to study AI applications in accordance with the direction set out in Notice No. 506/TB-UBND dated April 29, 2026; report the results to the Provincial People’s Committee and propose an implementation plan for 2027, with completion scheduled for December 2026.
The Provincial People’s Committee also requires departments, agencies and local authorities, based on current regulations and guidance from the Department of Science and Technology, to proactively deploy AI applications to support the professional operations, ensuring that such applications are practical, effective, appropriate to local conditions and compliant with the law.
