Lam Dong Glows in Celebration of the New Year 2026
On the evening of December 31, 2025, amid the joyful atmosphere of the New Year transition, the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee solemnly organized the “Welcome New Year 2026” Art Program at Lam Vien Square (Xuan Huong - Da Lat Ward), with three live broadcast locations connected across the province.

The event created a large-scale, emotional cultural and artistic space, drawing significant attention and participation from both local residents and visitors.
The program was directed by the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee and organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. It was broadcast live on television and digital platforms of Lam Dong Newspaper and Radio - Television, helping to spread the vibrant New Year atmosphere to all parts of the province.

The central broadcast location was set at Lam Vien Square, a symbolic landmark of Da Lat that embodies Lam Dong’s cultural identity, tourism appeal and creative vitality. Attending the event at this site were Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Ms. Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong Province; and Mr. Bui Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.
At the Provincial Theater and Cultural–Art Exhibition Center in Phan Thiet Ward, the program was attended by Mr Dang Hong Sy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee.
At the Nam Gia Nghia Ward Stadium, the program was attended by Mr Luu Van Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Council.

Also attending the program across the three locations were current and former provincial leaders, representatives of departments, agencies and localities, along with a large number of officials, soldiers, youth union members and local residents.

In his opening remarks, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Muoi conveyed a message of confidence, aspiration for development, unity and determination, expressing the commitment to build Lam Dong into a cultural, creative, compassionate and sustainable land in the New Year 2026.
The art program was elaborately staged, featuring a wide range of musical and dance performances praising the homeland, the country, spring and the people of Lam Dong. The performances harmoniously blended traditional cultural elements with modern, youthful and dynamic expressions.

At the same time, a vibrant New Year atmosphere was also created at the Provincial Theater and Cultural–Art Exhibition Center in Phan Thiet Ward and the Nam Gia Nghia Ward Stadium, forming a connected community space that spread confidence and development aspirations throughout the province.
The “Welcome New Year 2026” program was not only an outstanding artistic event, but also a meaningful space for community connection—where tradition blended with modernity, and where Lam Dong’s confidence and development aspirations were strongly shared and amplified
