Lam Dong hosts forum to boost competitiveness Index, and private sector development.
Lam Dong Province is set to host a major economic forum on June 19 to boost its Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) and accelerate Business Performance Index (BPI).
Lam Dong's forum to boost PCI and BPI co-organized by the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), will bring together roughly 500 delegates. Attendees will include senior central and provincial government officials, economic experts, investors, and business community representatives at Phu Thuy Ward.
The forum aims to sharpen administrative oversight across all government levels, streamline the local business environment, and catalyze private sector growth. Officials will also review the province's 2025 PCI and BPI performance indicators to identify regulatory bottlenecks and outline structural reforms for the coming period.
A key highlight of the event will be the rollout of Lam Dong's updated Department and Local Competitiveness Index (DCCI 2.0). The revised framework is designed to drive institutional innovation and enhance public service delivery for citizens and enterprises.
Leaders from the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, VCCI executives, and economic analysts are scheduled to present specialized briefings on PCI, BPI, and DCCI strategies. Discussions will focus on actionable blueprints to bolster competitiveness and attract high-quality investment.
The forum will feature a dedicated panel for the business community to voice operational challenges, address red tape, and propose policy recommendations to provincial leaders to support sustainable enterprise growth.
The forum marks a concrete step in executing the 2026–2030 strategic partnership between the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province and VCCI, alongside the Provincial Party Committee's action program, to drive economic modernization, enhance provincial competitiveness, and bolster private sector growth.
