Lam Dong inaugurates school administrative building supported by India
Authorities in Quang Khe Commune, Lam Dong Province, in coordination with the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, have inaugurated a new administrative and management block at Dak Plao Primary and Secondary School.

The event was attended by Vipra Pandey, representative of the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City; Ta Dinh Hai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Khe Commune Party Committee; Tran Duy Trang, Vice Chairman of the Commune People’s Committee; and representatives of local agencies, organizations and the school’s teaching staff.

The project has a total investment of VND 2.6 billion. Of this, a non-refundable grant from the Government of India provided USD 50,000 (approximately VND 1.15 billion), while the remaining funding came from the local budget.

The facility includes a two-story administrative building equipped with fully functional rooms and synchronized technical infrastructure. Construction began on April 17, 2025, and was completed on September 25, 2025, within the planned 200-day timeline.
The construction process was carried out in strict compliance with design specifications and technical standards. To date, 100% of the project’s investment has been disbursed, and the facility is now ready for operation.

Speaking at the ceremony, the representative of the Consulate General of India emphasized that the project reflects the strong friendship and cooperation between the two countries, while also contributing to improved teaching and learning conditions in the locality.

On behalf of local authorities, Ta Dinh Hai expressed appreciation to the Consulate General of India, the Government of India and relevant organizations for their support. He noted that the project carries not only material value but also symbolizes international solidarity and partnership.

He affirmed that once in operation, the facility will enhance school management and teaching effectiveness, while providing better working and learning conditions for staff and students. The commune has committed to effectively managing and utilizing the facility to maximize its value, contributing to local educational development and broader socio-economic growth.
