Lam Dong inspects key tourism destinations of UNESCO Global Geopark Dak Nong
On the afternoon of January 22, member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Van Tuan led a delegation to conduct a field survey of several tourist sites within the UNESCO Global Geopark Dak Nong in Truong Xuan Commune.

The delegation surveyed the UNESCO Global Geopark Dak Nong Information Center, Luu Ly Waterfall, and Truc Lam Dao Nguyen Zen Monastery. These sites are recognized for their outstanding geological value, natural landscapes, and cultural and spiritual significance, and are expected to become highlights in the locality’s tourism development.
During the survey, provincial leaders directly listened to local feedback, exchanged views, and acknowledged challenges related to the management, conservation, and utilization of tourism sites in the area.

Based on these findings, the provincial leader requested local authorities to strengthen coordination with relevant departments and agencies, proactively review current conditions, and gradually address existing shortcomings. At the same time, the localities were urged to propose appropriate solutions to create favorable conditions for effectively harnessing the potential and strengths of destinations within the UNESCO Global Geopark Dak Nong.

Vice Chairman Dinh Van Tuan emphasized that tourism development must be implemented in tandem with the conservation of geological, cultural, and historical values, with the goal of sustainable development. This approach will help promote the image of the UNESCO Global Geopark Dak Nong while contributing to local socio-economic growth.
