Lam Dong Launches “Summer Tourism Season 2026” with a Series of Events
Lam Dong Province plans to launch the “Welcome to Summer Tourism 2026” programme and unveil the Mui Ne National Tourism Area master plan through 2040, with a vision toward 2050.

The plan marks the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and national reunification (30 April 1975 – 30 April 2026), while also featuring the announcement of the Mui Ne National Tourism Area master plan through 2040, with a vision to 2050. The initiative is expected to showcase the area’s potential and draw both domestic and foreign investment in support of broader socio-economic development.
Efforts will be made to strengthen the promotion of the province’s tourism image and stimulate travel demand during the summer of 2026, attracting both domestic and international visitors to Lam Dong. This is particularly significant as Lien Khuong International Airport is temporarily closed for upgrades. At the same time, authorities aim to boost tourism promotion, cooperation and regional links, while diversifying summer tourism products and improving service quality and visitor experience.
Through the opening ceremony, the province will also promote the destination brand “Lam Dong – A Journey of Sea, Flowers and Forests”, with the aim of enhancing its profile in both domestic and international markets. The province is targeting more than 25 million visitors in 2026, contributing to its broader economic growth goals. Environmental protection, biodiversity conservation and the promotion of green, sustainable tourism will also be key priorities.
The opening ceremony is expected to take place in front of the Lam Dong Provincial Theatre and Cultural Exhibition Centre under the theme “Discover Lam Dong – Chasing Clouds and Riding the Waves”. Supporting activities will include exhibitions showcasing tourism products, OCOP goods and planning maps, as well as promotional campaigns carrying the slogans “Lam Dong – Come to Love” and “Experience Lam Dong”.
