At the meeting, Sun Group stated that it has been cooperating with Lam Dong for four years. Currently, there are 20 projects under implementation in the province, covering a total area of approximately 21,525 hectares.
These include: 1 transport infrastructure project; 13 urban and residential projects; and 6 tourism, commercial, and service projects. The Group proposed that Lam Dong pay attention to overlapping planning issues and site clearance related to the projects.

The Group sees Lam Dong as a destination in its long-term development strategy. We hope the province will continue to support and facilitate our investment activities. Strong direction from provincial leaders and close coordination with departments, sectors, and localities will help the Group complete projects quickly and efficiently.

Authorities noted that the investor has complied with commitments to the province. However, several projects remain affected by site clearance challenges, and local authorities pledged to expedite land handover to support implementation.

Vice chairpersons of the Provincial People’s Committee said both local authorities and the investor had shown a strong sense of responsibility in implementing the projects. Monthly reports were submitted outlining progress and project-specific solutions.

General planning at commune and ward levels must be accelerated, with all assigned tasks closely followed through to completion.

During discussions with Sun Group, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam emphasized that this was the second working session between Lam Dong and Sun Group since the implementation of the two-tier local government system.
The province appreciates and acknowledges the Group’s commitment in choosing Lam Dong as a long-term investment destination. The determination and efforts of the company in implementing projects have been clearly recognized by provincial leaders.

“Since the first meeting, Lam Dong’s leadership, particularly the Provincial People’s Committee, has demonstrated a clear sense of responsibility in accompanying investors. This continues the province’s tradition of supporting and resolving difficulties for investors. While some issues have yet to be fully resolved, Lam Dong hopes the Group will continue working closely with the province to achieve better results in the future,” he said.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that in 2026, Lam Dong is moving forward with determination and professionalism, guided by the principle: “localities decide, localities implement, and localities take responsibility.” The province clearly recognizes its responsibility in administrative operations and in resolving difficulties for investors.
Lam Dong possesses distinct advantages over other localities. The province maintains a proactive, cooperative approach, closely monitoring and addressing investor challenges.

The Provincial Party Secretary called for immediate action to tackle bottlenecks at the source, urging authorities and investors to work closely together to deliver tangible results.
Each individual must uphold a strong sense of responsibility and avoid complacency in public administration. Only then can provincial and local leaders fulfill their commitments to the people and business community. The Group should continue to accompany the province in maximizing its potential and strengths, creating a foundation for attracting more investors and projects.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman Ho Van Muoi urged departments, sectors, and local authorities to act with focus, determination, and urgency to resolve project challenges.
“Lam Dong regularly directs this work. However, in some localities, implementation remains inconsistent. The Department of Construction must urgently review and identify areas with major projects to provide hands-on support. Guidance and supervision must be carried out in a focused and decisive manner to ensure the completion of commune-level planning as soon as possible,” he emphasized.

The Chairman stressed that the Phan Thiet Airport project aims to commence construction by April 30. The Department of Construction is tasked with coordinating with central ministries, consulting units, and contractors to finalize necessary conditions.
Lam Dong is committed to working closely and proactively with central ministries and agencies during project implementation. This is an opportunity for the province to demonstrate its commitment and responsibility to the business community and investors.

At the meeting, Lam Dong Province and Sun Group signed an investment agreement for the Phan Thiet Airport project (civil aviation component)—marking a major step in regional infrastructure development.
With clear commitments from both sides, the meeting signals a push to unlock investment potential, accelerate project delivery, and strengthen Lam Dong’s position as a key destination for large-scale investors.
