Following administrative restructuring, Lam Dong has become the largest province in the country by area. In recent years, the province has achieved notable progress across various sectors, particularly in external relations linked to socio-economic development.
Deputy Secretary Bui Thang emphasized that the relationship between Lam Dong and Cambodia’s Mondulkiri Province has moved beyond diplomacy to practical cooperation in economic development, national defense, and border security.
To elevate ties in the coming period, Lam Dong proposed that the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia further support cultural exchange activities, facilitate the upgrading of key regional connectivity infrastructure, and promote cooperation with Cambodian localities.
