Of the total, 39 schools were newly accredited while 22 were re-accredited. By the end of 2025, the province had 1,005 out of 1,435 schools meeting national standards, accounting for 70.03%—meeting the provincial target set for the year.

In 2026, the Department of Education and Training is continuing to implement its plan to develop nationally standardized schools for the 2026–2030 period, with a vision toward 2035. A review shows that 117 educational institutions have exceeded their certification validity period, highlighting the urgent need for reassessment and quality maintenance.

In the first quarter of 2026, 52 schools were evaluated and recognized as meeting national standards, including 24 newly accredited institutions. However, the overall rate currently stands at 63.6%, below the 70% annual target, indicating significant pressure to meet the goal in the remaining quarters.

To stay on track, the education sector plans to assess and recognize an additional 163 schools over the next nine months. Specifically, around 60 schools are expected to be recognized in the second quarter, 43 in the third quarter, and another 60 in the fourth quarter.

With strengthened leadership, closer coordination with local authorities, and active engagement from educational institutions, Lam Dong aims not only to meet but potentially exceed its 2026 target for nationally standardized public schools—thereby contributing to improved overall education quality across the province.
