Lam Dong Mobilizes Resources for 2026 Jazz Festival
Lam Dong Province is mobilizing agencies and local authorities to ensure the successful staging of the Viet Nam Jazz Heritage Festival 2026, which officials describe as an international event with significant potential to raise the province’s profile.

On October 19, Ho Van Muoi, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting with the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to review preparations for the Viet Nam Jazz Heritage Festival 2026.
The meeting was co-chaired by Dinh Van Tuan, member of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee. Leaders of the department and heads of its specialist divisions also attended.

At the meeting, Chairman Ho Van Muoi emphasized that the Viet Nam Jazz Heritage Festival 2026 was an event of international stature with significant potential to create a lasting impression. He described it as a “golden opportunity” for Lam Dong to raise its profile, rather than simply another music program.
“The most favorable condition for Lam Dong is that the festival is fully funded by its sponsor. There is therefore no reason for us not to organize it well and effectively. Agencies should work with the sponsor in a constructive spirit, offering advice and creating the best possible conditions for the sponsor to deliver the program,” Chairman Ho Van Muoi said.
The Viet Nam Jazz Heritage Festival 2026 is organized under the leadership of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The event will take place from November 6 to 8 in Xuan Huong–Da Lat Ward, Lam Dong Province.

The festival is fully funded by THE ONE DESTINATION Joint Stock Company. Dalat Land Investment, Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company, a member of THE ONE DESTINATION, is responsible for organizing the event.
The festival will feature prominent Vietnamese and international artists, including Nik West, Lisa Ono, Raul Midon, Hong Nhung, Tran Thu Ha and Tran Manh Tuan.

The program will unfold over three days. The opening ceremony on November 6 will take place at Lam Vien Square, featuring special artistic performances.
On November 7, an expanded public performance will be held in front of the 3/4 Theatre in the Hoa Binh area. A performance by Andrea Bocelli is also scheduled at Lam Vien Square that day.
On November 8, a special musical evening for invited guests will take place at HAUS Da Lat.

Provincial departments, agencies and local authorities are coordinating to help the organizers complete the required procedures and ensure security, public order, traffic safety, fire prevention and firefighting, and environmental sanitation throughout the event.

Dinh Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, stressed that the festival was a major international event with particular significance and influence.
He urged the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to urgently finalize a detailed plan, map out each program and assign clear responsibilities to the relevant agencies and local authorities. With limited time remaining, he said tasks must be allocated specifically across all participating units.

“During design and construction, agencies and local authorities should act proactively and start early to create spaces for visitors. Flower displays and decorative installations should be added along routes from Lien Khuong Airport and the expressway to central Da Lat to create attractive surroundings and leave a strong impression,” Dinh Van Tuan said.

Assigning responsibilities for the festival, Chairman Ho Van Muoi emphasized that the event would draw domestic and international visitors to Lam Dong, including many well-known figures.
The festival's lasting impression will be a resounding success for Lam Dong. Everyone must regard it as our event. All provincial departments, agencies, local authorities and wards in central Da Lat must work together with determination and unity to deliver it.

The provincial chairman also required detailed, systematic arrangements for guest reception, logistics, security, public order and medical services. Coordination among participating units, he said, must be thorough and closely managed.
Program scripts must be detailed and specific. The province must provide comprehensive support for sound and lighting operations, resolving difficulties wherever they arise and ensuring that no detail is overlooked.

The provincial chairman also called on agencies to prioritize waste management and environmental sanitation to keep public spaces clean and green. In the Da Lat area, local authorities were asked to accelerate urban improvements and prepare flowers and decorative installations to create an attractive setting for visitors during the festival.
