At the meeting, Lam Dong Newspaper and Radio, Television joined hands with the Red Cross Society to contribute VND 44 million in support of disadvantaged families.
The funding will be used to provide 22 practical Tet gift packages, each worth VND 2 million, to be delivered directly to households facing particularly difficult circumstances across the province during this year’s Tet holiday.

The amount was drawn from the fund of the former “Arms of Compassion" program (now renamed “Spreading Compassion”). This humanitarian initiative, implemented in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong Province, reflects the spirit of solidarity and compassion deeply rooted in the nation’s tradition. The program aims to connect the community and extend support to those in need.
Beyond material assistance, these meaningful gifts offer timely encouragement, helping disadvantaged families welcome the Lunar New Year with greater warmth, dignity and hope.
