Lam Dong Participates in the 22nd Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival
On the afternoon of April 2, a delegation from Lam Dong Province attended the opening ceremony of the 22nd Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2026, a major promotional event marking the start of the summer tourism season.

Held at September 23 Park under the theme “Vibrant Summer Fest,” the event brought together leaders from central ministries and agencies, Ho Chi Minh City authorities, as well as representatives from localities and tourism enterprises both domestically and internationally.
Lam Dong’s participation is seen as an important opportunity to strengthen connectivity, promote its destination image, and enhance tourism linkages with Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces nationwide. The event also serves as a practical step in preparing for the 2026 summer tourism season and upcoming peak periods.

At the festival, Lam Dong showcased its distinctive tourism products, promotional programs and a wide range of tour packages, highlighting key strengths such as eco-tourism, resort tourism and high-tech agricultural tourism combined with experiential and indigenous cultural values.

At the same time, the province stepped up communication on tourism operation plans amid transportation adjustments, particularly after Lien Khuong Airport was temporarily closed for upgrades. Road links with Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring localities have been prioritized to help maintain stable visitor flows.
Through the event, Lam Dong Province aims to strengthen connectivity with travel agencies, transport operators and accommodation providers to develop diverse, high-quality interregional tourism product chains. At the same time, it presents an opportunity to expand visitor markets, enhance inter-provincial linkages, improve service quality, and gradually enhance the competitiveness of Lam Dong’s tourism sector in the context of integration and development.

The festival gathers more than 120 tourism enterprises from Vietnam and abroad, offering a wide range of promotions and stimulus programs for the 2026 summer season. It also provides Lam Dong with opportunities to capture market trends and better understand visitor demand, thereby guiding appropriate product development strategies.
Participation in the 22nd Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival reaffirms Lam Dong’s proactive role in tourism promotion, branding and regional linkage, with a focus on sustainable development and enhancing competitiveness in the new phase.
