During the visit, Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam extended his congratulations to journalists, editors, technicians and employees of Lam Dong Newspaper and Radio-Television, while recognizing the organization's achievements in fulfilling its political communication mission in recent years.

According to the Lam Dong Party Secretary, as the political system is accelerating reform and streamlining its organizational apparatus, and amid the rapid development of the digital media environment, press activities are facing many opportunities as well as considerable difficulties and challenges.
Despite these challenges, the unit’s leaders, reporters, editors, technicians, and staff have upheld a spirit of solidarity and responsibility, making strong efforts to successfully fulfill their assigned political tasks.

He noted that the province’s key press outlet has carried out information and communication work in a comprehensive and timely manner, closely following the political tasks of both the country and the province.
Many news series, articles, special pages, and columns have been carefully developed with in-depth content, helping effectively disseminate the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws. They have also vividly reflected achievements in socio-economic development, Party building, national defense and security, as well as people’s daily lives.

“The role of Lam Dong Newspaper and Radio-Television in guiding public opinion has been increasingly strengthened. Many valuable journalistic works have created a positive impact, helping promote patriotic emulation movements, spread exemplary models, and strengthen public trust in the Party’s leadership,” the Party Secretary emphasized.

The Lam Dong Party Secretary also acknowledged the unit’s efforts to modernize its journalistic practices. Digital transformation, multimedia journalism, and a stronger presence on digital platforms have helped improve content quality, increase audience engagement, and broaden public access to official information.
In particular, Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam expressed high appreciation for the political steadfastness, sense of responsibility, and professional ethics of local journalists. On many occasions, reporters and editors promptly reached the grassroots level, accurately reflecting social life and working alongside Party committees and authorities in communication and information dissemination. These efforts have helped build social consensus and promote the overall development of the province.

To meet the province’s new development requirements following the expansion of its administrative boundaries, the Party Secretary said the press should continue to affirm its role as a bridge between the Party and the people and serve as a “connecting thread” linking different localities and communities across the province.
“Lam Dong Province now covers a larger area, has a bigger population, and has more diverse socio-economic characteristics. Therefore, the provincial press must help build a shared identity, inspire solidarity, foster a sense of responsibility, and nurture the aspiration for development among all residents”

On this occasion, the Party Secretary also outlined three expectations for the province’s press workers. First, they should continue to maintain political steadfastness and professional ethics, constantly innovate, and master new technologies in the modern media environment.

Second, Lam Dong Newspaper and Radio-Television should be developed into a modern multimedia press organization, centered on a converged newsroom model. At the same time, it should effectively fulfill its task of protecting the Party’s ideological foundation, while improving the quality of social criticism and oversight.
Third, it should continue to preserve internal solidarity and unity, and build a democratic, humane, and professional working environment.
Reporting to the Provincial Party Committee’s working delegation, Le Huy Toan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of Lam Dong Newspaper and Radio-Television, said that after nearly one year of operating under the merged model, the unit has gradually stabilized its organizational structure and ensured the effective fulfillment of its assigned political tasks.

From July 2025 to the end of May 2026, the unit published 251 print editions with more than 2.8 million copies distributed. It also published more than 20,800 news stories and articles on its online newspaper, attracting over 26.4 million visits. Its digital platforms produced around 2,000 content items each month.
The unit also maintained stable radio and television operations while accelerating digital transformation, building a converged newsroom, and restructuring its organization toward a streamlined and effective model.

At the conclusion of the congratulatory visit, Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam expressed confidence that, with the glorious 101-year tradition of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press, along with solidarity and a strong aspiration to contribute, Lam Dong Newspaper and Radio-Television will continue to grow stronger, successfully fulfill its assigned tasks, and prove worthy of the trust placed in it by the provincial Party Committee, local authorities, and people.
