Lam Dong promotes expansion of international air routes through Lien Khuong International Airport
The Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has issued Plan No. 15235 to organize conferences in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in 2026 to promote the expansion of air routes and strengthen international air connectivity to and from Lien Khuong International Airport.
Lien Khuong International Airport officially resumed operations on August 19, 2026. Through the promotion conferences, Lam Dong will provide timely and official information to foreign diplomatic missions, international organizations, airlines, and domestic and international travel businesses on the airport's operational capacity, current route network and previously operated domestic and international routes.
The conferences will provide a forum for direct discussions and connections between Lam Dong Province and foreign diplomatic missions, overseas tourism and trade promotion agencies, international airlines, and travel businesses. The aim is to seek partners and encourage studies on launching scheduled international services and charter flights to Da Lat.
The events will also contribute to advancing the province's economic diplomacy efforts and its goal of achieving double-digit economic growth. The two promotion conferences are expected to be organized by the Provincial People's Committee in late September and early October 2026.
