Lam Dong Promotes Social Insurance, Health Insurance and Trade Union Policies Among Workers
On the morning of May 8, the Lam Dong Provincial Social Security Agency, in coordination with the Provincial Federation of Labor, organized a conference on communication and policy dialogue regarding social insurance, health insurance and trade union regulations in response to the 2026 “Workers’ Month” campaign.

At the event, trade union members, employees, and representatives from enterprises and grassroots trade unions were provided with updated information on current legal regulations, including new provisions under the Trade Union Law, Social Insurance Law and Health Insurance Law.

The conference also featured a direct dialogue session where participants raised questions and received clarification on specific welfare-related issues, including maternity benefits, sick leave entitlements and health insurance coverage for workers and union members.

On this occasion, the provincial Social Security Agency officially launched an online contest on social and health insurance policies themed “Social Insurance – A Sustainable Pillar of Social Security.” The competition will run from May 8 to June 8, 2026, and is open to all citizens living and working in Lam Dong Province.

Participants will answer multiple-choice questions related to legal knowledge and policies on social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance. Organizers described the contest as a practical and engaging initiative aimed at diversifying legal communication methods and helping citizens better understand and proactively protect their social welfare rights.

According to organizers, the conference contributes to improving legal awareness among workers and union members, ensuring that social welfare policies are effectively implemented in practice.
The program also helps address concerns at the grassroots level, safeguard workers’ rights and strengthen sustainable labor relations between employers and employees.
