The session was also attended by Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People’s Committee and leaders of provincial departments, agencies, and sectors.

Opening the working session, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Muoi said Lam Dong was pleased to have the opportunity to meet and work with Truong Hai Group. He congratulated the Group on the achievements it has made across various sectors over the years.
He emphasized that following its consolidation, Lam Dong holds significant potential and advantages, and has identified key development pillars to focus on in the coming period.

Lam Dong holds strong potential in the industrial sector, particularly in minerals, titanium, green energy, and renewable energy. High-tech agriculture is also one of the province’s key advantages. The locality has one of the largest agricultural production areas in the country, covering more than 1.054 million hectares, along with over 1.1 million hectares of forests.
In tourism, Lam Dong possesses strong advantages thanks to its diverse natural landscape, which harmoniously connects forests and the sea. A number of emerging tourism models have attracted many visitors, including eco-tourism, forest-canopy tourism, farm tourism, sightseeing and resort tourism, and wellness tourism.

Lam Dong is also investing in and upgrading its infrastructure network, particularly transport infrastructure such as expressways, airports, and intra-provincial roads. These improvements are expected to create favorable conditions for the province to attract investment in the coming years.
The working session is expected to provide an opportunity for Truong Hai Group and Lam Dong Province to exchange views, share aspirations, and discuss specific issues related to the Group’s needs as well as the sectors in which Lam Dong is calling for investment, with the aim of promoting effective cooperation in the future.

At the working session, Truong Hai Group reported that it currently has 10 projects either under implementation or in the research phase to prepare investment policy proposal dossiers in Lam Dong.
Of these, one project is being implemented through the acquisition of equity from the winning bidder; one is being proposed for implementation as a complex project; and the remaining eight are in the research phase to prepare investment policy proposal dossiers.

The Group highly appreciated the opportunity to work with Lam Dong provincial leaders following the province’s administrative consolidation. It described Lam Dong as a locality with immense potential and advantages, and expressed its desire to invest in urban renewal projects that would generate commercial and service value as well as revenue for the province.
Lam Dong currently lacks an international-standard convention center. If approved, the Group wishes to cooperate in developing a high-end resort and convention center complex. Truong Hai also expressed its readiness to participate in a bauxite mining and processing project.
Truong Hai Group hopes that Lam Dong will soon resolve procedural and legal obstacles facing the projects. If granted investment policy approval, we commit to implementing the projects on schedule, ensuring progress and quality, and creating long-term value.

At the working session, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments and sectors expressed their support and consensus on Truong Hai Group’s investment ideas and orientations for projects in Lam Dong.

Provincial leaders proposed that Truong Hai Group study and prioritize investment in several projects, including a smart parking system, electric vehicles to transport tourists from surrounding areas to the “land of a thousand flowers,” and a high-end resort combined with medical facilities offering specialized intensive care services.

The province also expressed its hope that the Group would consider investing in a wholesale market project to ensure outlets for local agricultural products. In addition, a 120-kilometer intra-provincial arterial road connecting Gia Nghia, Bao Loc, and Phan Thiet requires urgent investment research.

Obstacles and difficulties related to the projects being implemented by Truong Hai Group were also a key focus of the discussion. For projects currently facing procedural bottlenecks, Lam Dong’s departments, sectors, and localities will create favorable conditions, provide support, and address the issues as soon as possible.

Speaking at the working session with Truong Hai Group, Provincial Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam emphasized that following the consolidation, the Provincial Party Standing Committee has consistently focused on fully unlocking Lam Dong’s potential and advantages.
He noted that Lam Dong brings together distinctive advantages in climate, soil quality, natural conditions, and ecological diversity. The province has identified three key development pillars: industry, high-tech agriculture, and tourism.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that to fully tap its potential and advantages, Lam Dong needs partners with strong capacity and goodwill. The province hopes that Truong Hai Group will cooperate with and stand alongside Lam Dong to create significant value in urban development and high-tech agriculture.

Lam Dong is currently under significant pressure as neighboring localities develop rapidly. However, the province is not discouraged. On the contrary, it is gradually shifting its mindset and approach to unlock its full potential and advantages.
We greatly need the partnership and synergy of
experienced and capable investors, including Truong Hai Group. Regarding the Group’s proposals, the province will study them carefully and create the most favorable conditions possible. Let us cooperate and find common ground so that both sides can realize their aspirations.Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, Member of the Party Central
